1. Faulkner County Museum

Faulkner County Museum is the perfect destination for folks looking to learn about local history. This interesting local museum is situated inside a historic jail. The interior is packed full of archives, artifacts, and exhibits, documenting the history of the area from prehistory, through the early days of Conway.

Run by the county historical society, visitors will benefit from the expertise of local history experts and there are regular events and reenactments hosted here to bring history to life. The museum is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday. Admission is free.


2. Beaverfork Park Lake

Keen to spend a little time outdoors and enjoy some authentic Arkansas beauty? Beaverfork Park Lake is the place for you. The largest park in the city, it’s extremely popular with local people, offering the perfect mixture of great facilities and pleasant views.

There’s a disc golf course, swimming beach, baseball fields, volleyball courts, playground, picnic areas, and so much more. Plenty of parking and restroom facilities are available onsite, and although it’s very popular locally, the park rarely gets too busy even on holidays and warm days. You’ll find Beaverfork Park Lake on Kinley Drive, and it’s open 7 days a week, all year round.
