1. Woolley Hollow

Woolley Hollow state park provides outdoor enthusiasts with loads of activities, including four hiking trails and the 9.4-mile Enders Fault mountain biking trail. The 40-acre Lake Bennett is ideal for swimming, fishing, paddling, and boating. The lake has a boat ramp and offers canoe, kayak, pedal boat, and fishing boat rentals. All you have to do is bring your own pole, tackle, and bait. The park has tent and RV campsites close to a bathhouse with hot showers.


2. Pinnacle Mountain

Pinnacle Mountain is the centerpiece of this beautiful park on the Big and Little Maumelle Rivers. Here you can explore the diverse landscape on more than 22 miles of hiking and 14 miles of mountain biking trails. Hike and bike to the top of the mountain, along the rivers, and discover the breathtaking beauty of the Arkansas Arboretum. The park staff at the visitors center offer many interpretative programs throughout the year.


3. Petit Jean

The picturesque natural beauty, ancient geology, and the Petit Jean Mountain provide the ideal atmosphere for an unforgettable getaway. Enjoy swimming, fishing, and paddling on the 100-acre Lake Bailey and discover the spectacular 95-foot Cedar Falls, Bear Cave, the Grotto, and Natural Bridge. The hiking and biking trails wind through scenic meadows, forests, and canyons, over streams, and along the lake.

The historic 24-room Mather Lodge, with its welcoming fireplace, overlooks Cedar Creek Canyon. The park also has 33 rustic cabins with modern amenities along the bluff with spectacular views of the canyon and tent and RV campsites.
