3. Hill-Start Assist Control

It’s never easy to move your car forward on a hill, especially if you’re starting from a standstill. Try to go too fast and your engine might stop. Try to be too gentle and you might roll backward. To prevent this, the engineers at Kia have installed a Hill-Start Assist Control system on all Soul configurations. This system assists you when moving up a hill and prevents minor collisions or engine failure.

4. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

You might also be pleased to find out that your Kia Soul also incorporates Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These connectivity options are available on all models and they streamline the process of connecting your smartphone to the car. Once connected, you can easily make calls or listen to the music or audiobooks you have stored on your device.

5. Powerful Engine Options

All Soul models, except the Turbo version, come with a powerful 2.0L engine that produces 147 horsepower. The engine is connected to an automatic 7-speed gearbox. The Turbo configuration comes with a 1.6L turbocharged engine that develops 201 horsepower. This engine is coupled to a more sophisticated dual-clutch 7-speed transmission to help deliver all that power to the wheels.

6. 10.25-Inch Touchscreen Display

If you go for the most basic version, the LX, you will get an 8-inch color touchscreen panel that displays all the information about your car. If you pay slightly more, you get the 10.25-inch display. This panel is available on all Soul trims, except the LX, and it allows drivers to easily access the main functions of the car. This display also shows images from the rearview camera that comes as standard on all models.

As you can see, the new Kia Soul comes with a plethora of technologies and safety features. If you want one, contact us at Crain Kia and we’ll come up with a great deal to allow you to enjoy the new Soul as soon as possible!
