Springtime in Conway, AR is sure to be a good time with its wide variety of activities at your disposal. The warmer climate means the city pace is beginning to pick up, leaving you with a plethora of opportunities for family fun, all while supporting the local community.  


1. Toad Suck Daze

Each year during the first weekend in May, the city puts on this wildly entertaining festival that is a perfect fit for all. There are concerts, carnival rides, children’s activities, and evening shopping available during this three-day extravaganza. They even host the World Championship Toad Races, which is equally goofy as it is compelling. Keep in mind, this festival, located at 1200 Oak Street is free!


2. Conway Art Walk

Beginning the first Friday in March, the Conway Art Walk takes place each first Friday of the month and is an excellent way to immerse yourself in the creative culture of this small town. With local art, live music, and refreshments available, this event makes for a perfect Friday night to expand your horizons. Start your art walk off at 1100 Oak Street and venture off to the various art locations downtown.  


3. Conway Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market

Located at 2505 East Oak Street, Ashley’s Finds LLC is set to host an incredible vintage market. Over 300 vendors will be present showcasing trendy and one-of-a-kind clothing, accessories, and home decor. Food trucks will also be present along with coffee and tea vendors to energize you for a day full of shopping. 4. Downtown Conway Farmers’ and Crafts Market 

With the rising temperatures comes the return of the farmers’ market. Now, with over 50 vendors, this Saturday stop is sure to leave you with plenty of goodies. From fresh fruit and vegetables to crafts for both adults and kids, there is ample opportunity to support locally-owned businesses in the community. Come find us every Saturday beginning in May at 718 Parkway!


5. Beaverfork Lake Park

This expansive 25-acre park is known for its stunning views, excellent fishing, and recreational opportunities. Host an event at their pavilion, rent a kayak for fun on the lake, or sit on a bench and watch the birds. Spring is the perfect time to get out and enjoy the fresh air and luckily, this park, located at 20 Kinley Drive, serves as the perfect outdoor destination for just that.
